HP’s industrial presses are a huge investment, so its storytelling had to stand out. Instead of boring case studies, we told real customer stories—and of course, printed them with an HP. Now that’s walking the talk.
This was the perfect project for me to converge my two worlds—publishing and marketing—and guide both our agency team and client team through the process of creating a full-length publication from start to finish.
I chose two story formats (interview Q&A and narrative feature) to keep the cadence fresh from story to story. We created a concept around the customers’ humanity—our “industrialists”—and that followed throughout the headline styling, quote pulls, and voice and tone treatment.
Not only were we able to tell customers stories in an authentic and engaged way, we were able to show off the quality of HP Industrial presses without a “hard sell.”
